APTQI and Rizing Tide Celebrate the Diverse Future of Physical Therapy

Nikesh Patel, Executive Director of APTQI, met with Rizing Tide Foundation leaders and scholars at the American Physical Therapy Association’s combined sessions meeting in late February.  

The Rizing Tide foundation fosters diversity in the physical therapist workforce by empowering current and future therapists to provide even better care to an increasingly diverse patient population.  

APTQI is happy to ally with Rizing Tide to close existing gaps within the PT workforce. Rizing Tide – through the financial support of organizations like APTQI – annually supports high-achieving scholars pursuing a career as physical therapists from underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds.
