Physical Therapy Practices Host Lawmakers Across the Country

APTQI members have been putting advocacy into action by inviting lawmakers to visit their practices and learn more about the value of physical therapy.

During these tours, members of the physical therapy community have had the opportunity to educate lawmakers and their staff about the critical role that our services play in the healthcare delivery system, allow them to meet some patients benefiting from physical therapy, and share their perspectives about policies impacting the profession today.

You can see some highlights of our recent tours below:

Representative Diana Harshbarger recently visited a CORA Physical Therapy office in Morristown, TN:

Senator Whitehouse’s staff visited a Highbar location in Providence, RI:

Staff from Representative Brian Fitzpatrick’s office toured a JAG Physical Therapy location in Pennsylvania:

Representative Gus Bilirakis visited with the team at PT Solutions:

Peter Marbach, from Senator JD Vance’s office toured Cornerstone Physical Therapy:

These tours are an excellent way to connect with Members of Congress, but there are also ways for you to advocate from home!

We encourage you to visit our Grassroots Advocacy Center to contact your lawmakers about policies impacting physical therapy. Get started now!
